Summary of Position: Food Counter Attendants take orders from customers and customize the order based on individual needs. They also function as cashiers for the food and drink purchases. They deliver orders to the kitchen when applicable and may help tracking inventory for the counter.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.  Cleaning and sanitizing fountain soda machine, hand sink, lobby tables, chairs, and etc…
  • You must have the ability to work as a team with other attendants. Knowledge of health and safety guidelines for food handling is also essential.
  • Maintaining clean and sanitized bathrooms that are adequately stocked with paper towels, hand soap, and toilet paper.
  • Have a firm knowledge of health department rules pertaining to food storage, production, and service in general.
  • Folding and stocking all boxes, cups, lids, straws, napkins, and etc…
  • Maintaining an accurate register in concurrence with sales.
  • Properly taking both walk-in and phone orders quickly and effectively.  Take orders from walk-in customers for slices, and then properly reheat slices and serve.
  • Have a firm knowledge of Sexy Pizza’s menu, including ingredients, price, and quantity of each individual item.
  • Are aware of ongoing specials/coupons and their corresponding limitations.
  • Have a firm knowledge of Sexy Pizza’s history, delivery area, and general information.
  • Assign and settle delivery orders to delivery drivers.
  • Follow all rules and regulations set forth by Sexy Pizza.
  • Excellent communication skills — you must be able to listen to customers and communicate their orders accurately, interacting in a friendly way to encourage repeat business.
  • Food counter attendants must be able to work with their hands and must know simple arithmetic to handle payment transactions.
  • Depending on business levels, you must be able to to multitask — for example to track finished orders while customers are placing new orders.
  • Maintain the highest standard of customer service at all times
